Children's Classes


Our class programme operates on a 'pay as you play' basis, with each class run by qualified coaches. This is a great way to try out a new activity with the added help of an experienced coach.

Our activities are suitable for all abilities and are intended to be inclusive for children and young people with SEND, and their families. Please contact your chosen centre directly if you wish to discuss individual requirements.

Children's Classes

Our drop in coached sessions are ideal for those who would like that little bit of help and instruction from our coaches.

Parent & Toddler Coached Swimming

This class develops water confidence and helps children in their early stages enjoy water play. Packed with plenty of games and rhymes, each class will help your child get started in this important and enjoyable life skill.

Progressive swimming courses are also available through our Aqua Academy programme.

Junior Fitness

Young people aged 13 - 16 years can learn how to use our gym equipment under the safe instruction of our qualified gym staff. Our classes are a great way to gain the knowledge of healthy exercise routines using the cardiovascular equipment.

After School Cycling Club

Children 3 to 16 years can learn a number of cycling skills in the safe environment of Palmer Park Sports Stadium's velodrome. Our instructors will help you to develop your skill and run Bikeability levels 1 and 2. A range of adaptable and balance bikes are available, or maybe bring your own. Get on your bike and have fun.

After School Cycling Racing

Our coach will take you through the different time trials and races and you can see how you measure up!

Junior Squash

Our coach will teach you all you need to know about this fast paces game. Lots of game play and a chance to gain awards.
